Yay!! Mid year is finally over!! MUHAHAHAHA some of the students still got English literature, Chinese and third language papers later this week! But honestly, I don't think I will do well for the tests especially chem, E geog and A maths lor. Anyway, my father bought back a whole load of cool items when he came back last week. Things like: Japanese VCD, One Piece figurines, magazines and most importantly, a brand new DS!! My old DS spoil liao. The screen kept shaking. ^^ Actually, my father promised to buy me a PSP. Buy after my mum found out about it, she yelled at my father while talking on the phone. She even threatened to divorce =( Hence, my father bought me a DS and said that he will buy the PSP for me if I still want it next time... so sad...

Anyway, I am now a huge fan of the new Japan TV show Hana Kimi( Japan version of 花樣少年少女) The Japan one is NEW!! Nil actually this drama is Year2007 de. But it is wayyyyyyyyy better than the Taiwan version one lor.. pls la the characters are far better more looking and hotter. Even the girl(main character) looks more like a guy than Ella. Plus, she is cuter!! =D YUP! The first episode may be rather lame, but as the story progresses, it just becomes more and more interesting. Furthermore, there are a lot more funny clips than those in the Taiwan version of 花樣少年少女. From all the videos I saw, all of the people commented that the Japan one is far more worth watching. Yo! Frankly speaking, I think the Taiwan version is damn lame and a waste of time. BY THE WAY, the stories are completely differnt. Besides the fact that the boy character is a high jump star I dun think any of the other things are the same!! So it isn't like watching 2 totally similar story line but only with different casts and characters. The stories are wayyyy different!

Japan Hana Kimi's last episode is completely different from the Taiwan's too! I love the Japanese ending a lot. In the Taiwan's version, only Wu Zhun found out abt Ella's "secret"(not counting the gay doctor and the woman). But in Hana Kimi's final episode, the secret was exposed to the whole school and the ending is wayyy more touching lor. I love it!( I cried a little... Dun laugh!!) Unlike other TV series, where the girl character will just leave the school and then The End, end of story, the Japanese ending is more um... "shown". For example, what happened a few months after she returned to her homeland etc. I am really glad that my father bought such a wonderful VCD back for us to watch!! I love it!! I have never been so IN LOVE with a Tv show before. Makes me wanna learn Japanese and fly over to study there. HEHEHE. But of course i won't la. Because I know some of u will miss me TOO much. MUHAHAHA!!! just kidding =D
Anyway, the first thing I did when I reached home just now was to go take a quick and short shower, then switch on the TV and watch the final episode!! Wheeeeeee!!! I love love love love love it!!!!! BEST TV SHOW OF 2009!!! Yay!!! Ha! just by comparing the first Japan Hana Kimi episode with the Taiwan's first episode and u will know the difference!! there is absolutely no competition at all! Has anyone of u watched it already?

Recently, I have discovered that many people do not even know how to spell my name. Like for example, they usually spell my name as Wing Nam. Lol... Yesterday, my art teacher wrote a comment about my PowerPoint slide on a piece of paper and printed it out. Can u believe it?! She spelt my name as Wei Nam!!(IT DOESN'T EVEN SOUND LIKE MY NAME!!) Well, the truth is, the correct pronunciation of my name is Wing Lamb(um... but just delete the B when u spell my name) All the people called my Wing Nam Wing Nam.. Even when they spell it out it becomes Wing Nam... sigh... Who says I did not tell them the actual pronunciation of my name? They said that Wing Nam is nicer then Wing Lam. Since Wing Lam kinda sounded like A LAMB WITH WINGS. But just so u know... in Hong Kong, my name is pronounced as Wing Lamb. and pls learn how to spell my name people

Right after I returned home from school, my mum announced that the A level results are out. awwww.... My sis got 7 As(including english and HCL) and only 1 B for her economics. Which means she aced for all her subjects and only got one B. Lol. If I received that result for my A level, I would have fainted on the spot. (my mum said that it is not easy to get an A for subjects especially English) hahaha. The first question I asked was, "wow!7 As? did she get highest in her school and will there be any reporters questioning her on her success?" Unfortunately, my mum replied that only those who received all As would be on TV.(which means 8 As) so sad... If there happens to be any reporter coming to our house, I would have rushed over to sit with my sis. I mean.. who doesn't wanna appear on TV, right? =D anyway, My dad wasn't exactly very happy about her A level results. In fact, he started complaining about why she did not get A for all 8 subjects. My mum, on the other hand, lectured him about the "zuo ren bu yao tan xin" policy.>>>in English is "do not be greedy" . she even said that people who have had 1A is already VERY happy lor. right... so even if I have only received an A for SS for common test one . i think she will not punish me right? Since she said that 1A is enough... =D hohoho u have no idea how bad my marks are lor...

wowwwww!! I didn't know Korean dramas are sooo nice to watch!! Ever since watching Iljimae and Sassy Girl Choon-hyang, I found that Korean dramas can be as nice as hong kong dramas tooo(some times even better)!! The actors in most of the Korean dramas are young(erm... actually around 20 plus la). But all of them are so pretty and handsome. ohhhhhhhhhh. I love Korean dramas!! YAY!! ^^ Does anyone watch Korean dramas? ><

I did not know if I am just plain lucky or wat. After Dorothy started talking about this drama show, I had asked my father to help me buy it in Hong Kong. Hey Hey!! Happy New Year!! >< I haven't blogged for about 2 weeks I think... Oh well... Guess wat? I bought 2 little terrapins as an early new year gift yesterday!! Of course I have only chosen those which are small and"hyper" active. Right... when I saw them, they kept running about(I went to buy them at about 8 plus at night, so most of the other terrapins were sleeping like a log) but after I put them into my container, they keep sleeping!!! (um... but seeing them close their eyes is real cute!) Oh yeah! I have also built a "swimming pool" called the terrapin's fantasy world. It's really cool. It includes a leaping board to leap into the huge pool. I actually wanted to build a slide.But after several tries, I gave up.(it's very irritating lor) plus having to build it all by myself without any one's help,it's really difficult. I think I will post the picture of my new "pets" next time(provided I am not tooo lazy to do so)

My co-form asked us to write down our birthday on the paper today. And guess wat? someone in the class was born on the same day, same month and same year as me!!!! Yay! It is the first time I have ever come across a classmate whom has the same birthday as me. Although I have a cousin(a boy) whom was also born on the same date and month, but he is 1 year older than I am :( Cool! From all my experiences, I have never been in or heard of such a small number of ppl in a class(33ppl in my class only) However, many of their birthday are in the month April. For example, some of them were born in the 10th, 13th or 18th. I guess there are others born in this month, but I can't remember >< Dude! I LOVE my class. yipeeeeeee!! Hope all of u love ur class too. If not, then good luck for the next 2 years. hehehehehe

Wa!! Today is the very 1st lesson of the year at the Nanyang Arts Academy. After a very very long break, the school has finally reopened!! But the lessons now last for 3hrs.(die liao ><) So from now on, I will have to wake up at 7.15am, leave house at 8.15am and reach school BEFORE 9.15!!!!! The class begins at 9.15 and ends at 12.15.(so if I did not answer your calls or messages..."pls record ur message after the tone" :D Last year, my lesson was from 10-12noon. Lol, not only does the lesson this year start earlier, it also ends later than before. ~so sad~
But wow! My NEW teacher brought a big, old-fashioned radio into class. Double wow!! When she played classical music throughout the whole lesson. Sure the music is nice, but I would be much more grateful if she play S.H.E or Jay Chou's music.(although I didn't really like to listen to their album songs, but it is MUCH better than classical. Lol, she can at least play some Disney songs for entertainment ^^) As I have also taken Higher Art in school, I might be spending much more time on my art pieces than on my homework. I just hope that I will have enough time to study for all my tests

yahoooooo!! Guys! U MUST watch Canopy Of Love next week(channel U at 7pm, mon-fri)This TV drama is great! I love it! During my "visit" to Malaysia, I watched it with my sis in the hotel.(surprisingly, the episodes I watched were none other than the 1st 3 episodes). I really wanted to buy this CD, but my dad keep nagging about having to study hard for all my subjects and thus did not allow me to buy the disc. "DOWN WITH HIM!!" Luckily for me, Channel U was actually gonna show it on TV every weekdays at 7. OMG! This is fate!! I couldn't believe it when I saw the advertisement on TV. It was too good to be trueeeee!!!! Sadly, in malayisa, it was in Cantonese. But in Singapore, they are gonna show in in Chinese.~Sigh~

My dad bought a Hong Kong drama series when he was working overseas. After watching a few episodes, I think this show is quite nice to watch. Although some parts of the drama is really lame and the fighting scenes are sometimes very fake. But this drama is still worth watching. From the way the actors are dressed and all the fighting scenes in the video, most of u might have thought this drama is all about war between the countries. well, in actual fact, the four main characters are actually like "detectives". Yup! They solve exciting murder cases. yay!!! I have seen a lot of dramas on detectives or police. For example, Forensic Heroes. But all of them show mordern life people using high techonlogy equipments to find finger prints or DNA. However, have any of u thought of how our ancestors solve murder cases in the past? Hohoho...well if any of u are interested... the name of this drama seried is The Four.(plus in Hong Kong, they have just recently finished screening this drama on TV) ~~Enjoy~~

WA!So sorry!!!!!. Lets see... I haven't blogged for more than 1 week.uh!! All because my sister said that she had yet to finish typing out her homework and refused to let me use the computer. Hmph!NOT FAIR!! Now I will have to wake up around 5am in the morning just to use the comp. ~~sigh~~ and school's gonna reopen this Friday. ~~So sian~~ Aiya, these things aside. I wanted to blog on a snail which I saw in school yesterday.^^First, please take at the photo that I have taken.

I saw this snail when I went for table tennis at 8am. However, when I was leaving school at around 12noon, this snail was still on the exact pillar, exact position and exact place. Lol, and can u all see that black thingy that looked like shit coming out of the snail's body? well, the truth is. That IS the snail's um... shit.>< Thus, after thinking real carefully, I have come up with two conclusions. (1)The snail was having stomachache and it was having difficulties passing it out. OR (2)The fact that snails are the slowest animal(correct me if I am wrong) is damn right. -__-ll Well... some of u may ask. how do I know that the snail was in the same exact place where I have seen it early? It might have moved... Wellll, the fact is this snail was the LARGEST which I have seen in my whole life(so far). I actually intended to take a picture of the snail when I saw it the first time. But since there were other students(whom I don not know) walking behind me, I did not want to attract too much attention taking a picture of the snail.Lolz, who knows? They might even think that I am crazy. But I swear that the shit wasn't there the first time I saw this snail.

My father came back from overseas yesterday. Yay!! He brought loads of anime magazines and figurines for me^^(Most of them are related to Naruto). In addition, he bought 2 books that teach me how to draw manga characters. Lol, so thick. I wonder if I would have time to read it or not >< Plus there are also boxes of Hong Kong dramas to add to our VCD collection. Best of all, every time he comes back, we always go out and eat sea food (yummy crabs!!) >< Oh and by the way, I will be going Malaysia with my family next Tuesday(I think for about 3 days)so don't bother trying to contact me when I am away O.o

Fans of forensic heroes!! Today's the last episode of forensic heros 1. **cries*** So nice to watch. I LOVE IT!! ^^ Aiya, but forensic heroes 2 is nicer lor. Although I do not really like the characters in forensic heroes 2, but the cases in this new season is much more exciting. Plus, in forensic heroes 1, they keep dragging one case after another. Like for example, they took 3 episodes just to solve a damn case (and usually the audiences have ALREADY long guessed who the killer is)and then another three episodes to talk about relationship or love kind of stuff. So this makes it seem kinda boring~~ On the other hand, in forensic heroes 2, new characters were added. Unfortunately, one of the main female characters(of forensic heroes 1) died in this season, while the other one hurt her hand badly.(and her new hair style sucks lor, it makes her look OLD) ~sigh~ from what I have heard, most ppl prefer forensic heros 1. Some of them said it is because of the death of that female character whom I have mentioned earlier >< Hmmm.... What do u fans think?

STRESS

Ah!! I feel stressed!! Mrs Lim( my art teacher) asked me to draw one object every week. But not just once, but thrice!! One from mainly observation, the second one is to draw while looking at the photo I have taken from the object and lastly to draw from both observation and photo. Of course, all three must be seen from a different view and angle. Sounds easy right? Lol. I was supposed to hand in my "homework" last Sunday.(via e-mail) but I still have yet to finish drawing!! **CRIES** I have trouble sketching the objects and colouring them. Plus it is not easy to mix the colours using colour pencils lor. Unlike paint, the colours from my colour pencils tend to overlap each other. For example, if I wanna mix light green and light yellow, the green always overlap my yellow.~sigh~ And that is not waht I call mixing colours... Lol. No wonder so many ppl ask me not to take Higher Art. But who knows? Maybe things will turn out better when school reopens... or worst ><

Yay! Today is definitely a day to remember. It first time/day in my whole life in which I have ever worn a dress and boots+contact lens to my jiao lian's wedding. ^^ Since I always wear long pants and shirt wherever I go, I feel VERY weird. I met my primary school table tennis friends and ex-coaches.(we have never seen each other for more than 2 years). Of course all of them look kinda different from last time. For example, some of them grew taller, skinnier or even darker. ~Sigh~ These brings back memories... The best part during the wedding is definitely and undoubtly when the bride and bridegroom exchanged rings and kissed. >< So cool! Yo! I would like to take this opportunity to say,"may lin jiao lian and his wife live happily ever after!!"(oh! and have a lot of children next time ><)

I need some help here! My XxRedDicexX character in maplesea is now lvl 29. One more lvl and I will have to choose the 2nd job of my choice. However, I am having a VERY hard time trying to decide which job I should take. Personally, I am not the type who likes to party or do party quests. So I will rule out being a Cleric. So the only two choices left are (Ice/Lightning) or (Fire/Poison). From what I have gathered, lightning wizards are able to lvl up slightly faster as they have the ability to freeze and attack multiple enemies. It is also mentioned in mapletip that lightning is one of the more popular class. On the other hand, it possesses slightly less power than a Wizard (Fire/Poison). And as for a (Fire/Poison) wizard, the following are the pros and cons I have taken from mapletip:

Pros
Strongest Single Target Damage Spell
Fire Element, more monsters weak to fire than Ice
Great solo capabilities
Uncommon class choice
Excellent Mob Skills at Level 70

Cons
No Mob Skill until Level 70
Fire Arrow affected by terrain

Maple again!!

Yo dudes! While I was playing maple just now, a monster dropped a mystic shield!! I am so lucky! I was actually planning to buy a wooden sheild to boost up my characters defence, since I the shops I went to did not sell any other shield(besides the warriors shield). Lol. The shield I picked up is not only cool-looking, but it is also suited for my magician to use.<< Only magicians can use it and the required lvl is not too high ^^ >> I think the shield is also quite hard to get, since I have fought sooo many of them and only got one shield... Someone also asked me to sell him the mystic sheild today but of course I rejected without even asking him how much he is willing to pay. (ohhhhh my precious shield) =D NOTE: remember to click the pictures to get a clearer view

The coolest and fastest job so far. >< However, from what I have gathered from other website, many people say that pirates are also the weakest... ^^ The following link is a website that may help those who are really interested to be a pirate character.

On the other hand, I strongly recommend that you continue to train your other characters 1st. As this job has just been added, there may be changes in the adding of skill points in the future... The following video is a demonstration on what Pirates can do. But note that the character's lvl is over 100. >< Furthermore, the title of this video is "Pirate job Maple story private server". So be aware that this character is training in the private server. ~Which means that it is unlikely that any pirate character in the "real" maple world has reached such a high lvl~

Heyyyy!! After seeing all the cool cosplaying yesterday, I have been doing some "research" on some anime which I have seen. I have also found a video on people cosplaying the characters in Death Note.(but I still think the actors of Death Note are MUCH MORE compared to these cosplayers)^^ L rockz! OMG!! today is the 1st time I have EVER seen anyone cosplay. This is soooo cool!!!! There are MANY people cosplaying as the characters of Code Geass. Sadly, I did not get the chance to take a picture of them. There was a girl who DID look EXACTLY like C.C., one of the main characters in this anime(my favorite anime too ^^). I also saw a girl who TRIED to cosplay as Cagalli from Gundamseed Destiny, but I don't think she LOOKS like her at all. LOL. AHHHH!! When I was in the toilet, I also caught a glimpse of the BACK VIEW of the girl who cosplayed as Sakura. Although I did not see her face, but the back view of her hair is soooooo alike!!! UM.. I have recorded down the cosplay competition. However, since the best cosplayers whom I have seen during this festival did not participate,especially those whom cosplayed as Naruto or Ichigo, I do not think there is a need to post the video at all... Plus, the video I have taken is wayyyyyy too shakey to be seen at all... -_-ll BUT, I did post pictures I have taken during this festival. Since there are so many cosplayers, I only managed to take photos of some of them. ~ENJOY~ lol, I wish I can go to this kind of cosplay festival again. It is sooooooooooo coooooooooool =D

noooooo my 2ooo den!! ~sob~ I just received a proposal from a character called Danny sth.. And after I accepted his proposal, the words "2OOO den is consumed. Congrats,u are now husband and wife" >>>sth like this, I cannot remember the exact words. >< Aiya, why accepting a proposal also need 2 pay so much 1?!? The worst thing is, after I read my "husband's" user information, he only got 6000 den!!!!! Less than 1/2 of what I have. Noooooo -_-ll Usually, girls always and ONLY pick a guy character(in the game) whom has a LOT of money or has a VERY high level, so that they can ask the guys for help or whatsoever. But this "husband" is NOT ONLY POOR, his level is also lower than mine!! SHIT! My character's future is ruined!! ~HELP~

To all Hong Kong Drama fans!! These 2 videos are the OP song for 四葉草1 and 2. The main characters in these 2 drama are different and so is the plot of the story. As seen in the video, 四葉草1 is about fencing, while 四葉草2 is about volleyball(~obviously~) I have watched part of 四葉草1 and all of 四葉草2 a long time ago but I still think they are worth watching. Some of the episodes can be watched on youtube. However, if they have been taken down, you can rent the disc from the rental store( I have seen the dics for rent in the shops ) Er.. Some of you might already have heard the song before, since they are kind of "old". By the way, I have heard from my sis that 四葉草3 is coming out soon. YAY!! Now then, ~enjoy~

I went to the newly opened West Coast Plaza today. um... Not all the shops are open for business yet so there is nothing "special" to look at. Sadly, besides the fact that there is NO Kopitium in the plaza, I don't see any Mcdonalds, KFC or pizza hut either. The food stores that are open so far(which I remember) are Ben And Jerr, Fish And Co, New York New Yock, BBQ chicken, Starbucks and some sushi or ice cream stores. And as you know, all these stores are "branded" and thus thay cost A LOT for just 1 meal.(eg. 1 fish and co. set already costs over $10). Anyway, I went to eat lunch at BBQ Chicken after table tennis training today. The student meal which I ordered costs about $8(a little less than 8). However, the workers(eg. waiters) there are very polite and the food are, er... nice?( not bad la, but my chicken drumlet tastes kinda like peanut butter =D ) OH! And I saw Mdm Surin paying the bill when my family walked into the store. ~SCARY~

Although I am surprised and happy that they decided to open a Popular in the plaza(a very small 1) but the thing that I really care about so far is how BIG the Comic Connection there is!!! OMG( And ZX still say the Comic Connection very small... -_-ll )
PLUS I even took pictures of the CC store. But due to the fact that I am an inexperienced photo-taker(which I admit I am...) the picture might be too blur to see anything ::sry hor:: =D

Since she told me that she had only watched the first few episodes of Naruto(season 1 de) and hence did not know who Sai is(Lol,my favorite character), thus I decided to post an opening theme from Naruto Shippuuden(Naruto season 2) so that she can see the "grown up" faces of Naruto and his friends AND get a glimpse of who Sai is(the short hair guy wearing the black shirt) PLUS this is the newest Naruto OP( I like the opening part of this song, but the ending part made the singer sound out of breath. Yay! Today is the last lesson of art at the Nanyang Art Academy school for the year! Thus means that for the next few Sundays I will be freeeeeeee!! ^.^ ~Sigh~ Unfortunately, I still have guitar lesson on Saturday. The worst part is that the lesson starts in the afternoon, so if I wanna go out that day, I will need to wake up damn early in the morning and then get my hell to the class before it starts(either way, my saturday life is ruined)

Something happened yesterday while I was on board the NEL on the way to harbourfront to celebrate a friend's birthday. Thought of sharing it because I think it is quite 'educational' and one would probably learn something out of it after reading about what transpired.

As usual, the NEL wasn't too packed and I got a seat the moment I boarded the train. I don't normally sit down on trains because many at times, just a short while after sitting, I would need to give up my seat to some elderly person or some pregnant lady. Remember thats what we learnt in 好公民 in primary school? If you have forgotten, please flip through your 好公民 textbook now! Alright thats besides the point for now. What happened was my butt whispered to me that it was aching after the training with the NH students so it wanted a rest. I decided to be kind to it for once and allowed it to have the empty seat that was frantically waving to it and saying 'sit on me sit on me'. So my dear butt had a good 10 min rest until the train reached Dhoby Ghaut...

The person seated on my left alighted from the train. So did the one on my right. Thus there were 2 empty seats beside me. I then saw 2 ladies who were friends walking towards the seats beside me. I decided to move over to the seat on the right so as to enable them to sit together rather than with me sitting in between them. Unknown to me, they had a 3rd friend. I must say those 2 ladies did not forget their 3rd friend... they 'moved in' a little to give the 3rd friend some space to squeeze in(yes 3 grown up ladies trying to squeeze into 2 seats on the train...) and guess what? I was therefore squeezed out of my seat... Ended up standing for the rest of the journey and amused by what had happened.

You may wish to try that the next time you take the MRT with your friends. At your own risk! =P
